Raised in a coastal town in Portugal, she learned knotting from her grandmother, once used for nets and baskets. Elena saw more—knots that could tell stories. When she moved to Nashville, she carried those traditions with her, weaving rainbows, shelves, and wall hangings that reflect both heritage and Nashville’s creative spirit.

Each piece is hand-knotted with natural cotton rope and unfinished wood, designed with intention and patience. “Macrame teaches stillness,” she says. “I want people to feel that calm in their homes.” Her work is not just décor but a connection to culture and craft.
